Information we collect
Rigarex may collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, mobile phone number, company or organization information, account credentials, marketplace listings, saved searches, wanted requests, messages, financing requests, service requests, technician or dealer profile information, reviews, and documents you choose to submit.
We may also collect technical and usage information such as IP address, browser and device information, login and security events, referring pages, account activity, and interactions with Rigarex features. For security, fraud prevention, abuse detection, and service localization, we may derive approximate geographic and network information from an IP address. IP-derived location is approximate and is not treated as a precise street or household location.
How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts, operate marketplace features, provide requested communications and services, connect users with selected marketplace participants or service providers, process support requests, prevent fraud and abuse, investigate security incidents, improve Rigarex, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
SMS and mobile messaging
If you provide a mobile phone number and affirmatively opt in, Rigarex may send SMS messages for phone-number verification, account security, multi-factor authentication, and account or marketplace activity that you request or enable. Message frequency varies based on account activity. Message and data rates may apply.
You may reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages and HELP for help. Opting out may prevent use of features that require SMS verification or SMS-based multi-factor authentication. Rigarex SMS consent is separate from consent to receive marketing communications.
Rigarex does not sell, rent, share, or provide mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in information, or SMS consent data to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information may be disclosed only to service providers that help Rigarex deliver or secure the messaging service, when you direct us to share information, or when required by law.
Private documents
Identity, financial, insurance, and other private documents are not intended for public display unless a feature clearly states otherwise and you choose to publish or share them. Public technician profiles may display verified insurance limits, dates, and status, but not policy numbers or uploaded insurance documents.
Information you ask us to share
When you submit a financing request and consent to sharing, Rigarex may send the information you provide and relevant equipment details to the finance partner you choose. Marketplace messages are shared with the participants in that conversation. Other information may be shared with dealers, technicians, financial partners, logistics providers, or other marketplace participants when you initiate or authorize that interaction.
Service providers
Rigarex may use service providers for infrastructure, hosting, email delivery, SMS delivery and verification, security, fraud prevention, analytics, document storage, and similar operational functions. These providers receive information only as reasonably necessary to perform services for Rigarex and are not authorized by Rigarex to use mobile messaging consent for their own marketing.
Security and retention
Rigarex uses authentication, access controls, audit records, rate limits, and other safeguards designed to protect marketplace data. No system can guarantee absolute security. Information may be retained as reasonably necessary to operate the service, maintain security and fraud-prevention records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and satisfy legal obligations.
Your choices
You may update certain account information through your account, change communication preferences where available, or contact Rigarex regarding privacy questions. SMS recipients may reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages and HELP for assistance.
Changes to this policy
Rigarex may update this Privacy Policy as the service evolves. The effective date above identifies the current published version.
